We are committed to reducing the waste going into landfill, this is why we are transparent in our dealings with the waste steam. Our intention for doing this allows us to give each and every customer the satisfaction that your waste is being dealt with in a responsible manner.
80% of all incoming waste was diverted from landfill and either recycled or reused last year, and our mission is to continue aiming for a zero waste to landfill by next year. This works all the more so by communicating our purpose to you. As such, we welcome your feedback, positive or negative!
We operate under the compliance of the Environment Agency to ensure that we are transporting your waste in a safe and responsible manner.
If you get offered a cheaper waste collection service from another company that does not hold a waste carriers license, you are likely to be dealing with rogue traders who have no intention of taking your waste to a correct disposal point but rather plan on leaving it in a local layby.
We hold a WAMITAB certificate (issued by the Waste Management Industry and Advisory Board) that allows us to take your waste back to our licensed premises for sorting & segregation.
This ensures that we abide by the legal framework set out by the Environment Agency on the waste hierarchy known as Section 34(1) Environmental Duty of care regulations 1991.
As a result of this certification, we are licensed to operate a safe and sustainable recycling system on our sites in the Midlands helping us to achieve our target of 0% waste to landfill programme.
We provide on collection and disposal a duty of care waste transfer note. This will stipulate the types of waste being handled using a set of waste type codes set by the Environment Agency. It will also state clearly the origin and destination. This will give you peace of mind that you are dealing with a trusted and reputable company that takes a responsible approach to the removal and disposal of your waste.
Operating a transport company comes with a responsibility, which we take seriously.
We own and operate our own transport and logistics service to collect your waste, and we have transport operators that have all the necessary qualifications to carry out these tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
We are National Core Module A and Freight Module B certified.
If it's too good to be true...
We all know the end to this saying: “it usually is”.
If you are planning a domestic or commercial activity that will require the removal and/or disposal of any form of waste, ensure you make your checks on the company you are dealing with prior to booking to confirm they carry all of the necessary documentation.
Unlike some, our prices are not merely the result of ‘a finger in the air’. They have been based around a strategic knowledge of our industry and formed on the basis of current operational costs.
A word of warning to the customer: by law if any waste knowingly has been fly tipped by a rogue trader and is traced back to you, you can be liable to a hefty fine of up to £5000 and/or a short term prison sentence.
Don’t get caught out by rogue traders. Remember, if the price is too good to be true, it usually is.
